Calling All Explorers was born from a love of sharing adventure — and from a ton of requests to share my travel itineraries with friends, family, and Instagram followers.
Instead of individually sending recommendations to tons of different people, I created Calling All Explorers — which helps everyone to share their own unique adventures, experience a wide variety of cultures and places, and explore more.
I've worn many hats in my life and have navigated both the corporate and non-profit worlds — and I’ve also logged countless miles on various triathlon, marathon, and adventure race courses. I started my journey with outdoor adventure as a child, and this continued pursuit is one of the greatest joys I share with my family today.
Every single trip is a reset button for me, and despite the typical travel headaches and unforeseen obstacles, I always return refreshed and ready to plan the next adventure. Additionally, I want to foster a love for the outdoors in my children, as I believe that they will grow up to preserve and protect the things that they love.
Wife, mom, traveler, voracious reader, French Bulldog fanatic, and head explorer at Calling All Explorers.
While I appreciate the culture, opportunities, and history offered by larger cities, that is not what this site is about. Please don’t ask for posts on museums and restaurants in larger cities. Also, I am not a travel agent; this site is strictly for inspirational purposes. Do your own research and bookings or, better yet, use a travel advisor if you are considering a trip with a lot of moving pieces.
Anyone can write for Calling All Explorers. Thought leaders, journalists, experts, travel enthusiasts, stay-at-home parents, and individuals with unique perspectives are all welcome! If you have been out exploring and have a good story to tell, please share and sign on as a contributor.
